Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as a senior ETL and reports developer for the NC FAST program, focusing on FNS/SNAP reports using Oracle and PL/SQL technologies.
- Analyze and document business and systems requirements for reports and data extracts related to NC FAST Case Management System.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ETL batch jobs, complex queries, reports, and dashboards.
- Interpret business requirements to create and modify data interfaces and reporting solutions of mid to high complexity.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, auditing, and performance metrics analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing reports, queries, and data extracts.
- Work with large data sets, including tables containing CLOBS/XML data.
- Develop and optimize effective SQL queries for large-scale data reporting.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Utilize Oracle, Oracle Utilities, PL/SQL, and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Business Objects, BIRT).
- Apply structured system development methodologies and Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to team members as needed.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support/rotation for reporting and data extract operations.
- Leverage experience with Data Warehousing, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, Tableau, and/or Dell Boomi as needed.
