Type: 6-month contract. Direct hire possible

Compensation: $36.83 - $45/hr

Work Schedule: Flexible, 4/9s and a 4 or 5/8s

System One is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our team in Charlotte, NC for a 6-month contract opportunity with potential for direct hire.



Responsibilities

• Partner directly with engineering hiring managers.
• Lead intake meetings and develop recruiting strategies.
• Source, screen, interview, and qualify engineering candidates.
• Manage multiple engineering requisitions simultaneously.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, and the hiring process from start to finish.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and become a trusted recruiting partner.
• Own the sourcing function for engineering hiring.
• Build advanced Boolean searches and sourcing strategies.
• Identify and engage passive engineering talent.
• Build and maintain engineering talent pipelines.
• Consistently deliver qualified candidates to the recruiting team.
• Work independently with minimal direction.

• 5+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience.
• Recent engineering recruiting or engineering sourcing experience is required.
• Experience recruiting engineers in industries such as Power Generation (strongly preferred), EPC, Utilities, Industrial Construction, Heavy Industrial.
• Experience recruiting for disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), Process, Piping, and Project Engineering.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and advanced sourcing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Can quickly understand technical engineering roles.
• Proactively finds talent and builds relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
• Comfortable recruiting difficult-to-fill engineering positions.
• Can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.
• Communicates well and follows through.
