Job Description

Madison Core Labs is a state-of-the-art full-service independent clinical laboratory, and we are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team! Position Summary : Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility.  This position will be expected to work a flexible work schedule serving North Alabama, including Birmingham and surrounding areas. (Working Hours could range between 5:30am-5pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs. 
  • Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records 
  • Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples
  • Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing
  • Answer related patient questions and provide useful information 
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling 
  • Follows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor

Experience:

  • 5 years related experience , Preferred

Education: 

  • H.S. Diploma,  R equired  

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :

  • Phlebotomy Certification,  Preferred  
  • Valid Drivers License, Required
