BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician to support a 136-unit residential apartment community in Grove City, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a hands-on role managing day-to-day property operations.

Position Overview

As the HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for handling daily maintenance operations across the community, with a strong emphasis on diagnosing and resolving HVAC-related service requests. This role requires a well-rounded skill set and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and complete day-to-day maintenance service requests for a 136-unit community
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (certification required)
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Address general maintenance needs, including:
  • Minor plumbing repairs
  • Basic electrical work
  • Appliance troubleshooting and repair
  • Locks, fixtures, and general unit upkeep
• Prepare and complete unit turns/make-readies as needed
• Maintain common areas and property grounds to ensure a clean, safe environment
• Respond to maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all safety protocols and company standards

Qualifications

• HVAC Certification required
• Proven experience in apartment maintenance or property maintenance
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Knowledge of general maintenance trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, etc.)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
• Strong customer service mindset when interacting with residents

Schedule & Pay

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
